ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act in Crime No.Not known of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that petition enquiry is pending against the petitioners.
4.In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent Police is directed to complete the enquiry as contemplated in Lalitha Kumari Vs. State of Government of Uttar Pradesh and others case, reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners are also directed to cooperate with the respondent police for the enquiry and at the time of enquiry, the petitioners shall not be harassed by the respondent police. In the enquiry, if a prima facie case is made out against the petitioners, the respondent police shall register the First Information Report, else the petition be closed.
