[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard R.Venkatesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Baskaran, learned Standing Counsel for Government appearing for the respondents 1 to 6. 2.The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the respondents 1 to 6 to take effective steps for preventing the illegal rocky soil sand quarrying operations in survey No.124 at Chinna Aeri, Melarasur, Lalgudi Taluk in Trichy District.

3.It is seen that the representation given by the petitioner on 02.06.2021 has been taken note of and the Revenue Divisional Officer, the third respondent has forwarded the representation to the fourth respondent for appropriate action, vide a communication, dated 04.06.2021.

4.In the light of the above, we direct the fourth respondent to proceed further in accordance with law by taking note of the representation given by the petitioner, after notice to all concerns. This direction be complied with as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
