Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned resolution No.11 passed by the 2nd respondent dated 15.07.2018 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with the functioning of the petitioner as District President of Tamilnadu Elementary School Teachers Federation functioning in the Sivagangai District till his tenure is over in any manner. ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.This writ petition is filed against the resolution No.11 passed by the second respondent, dated 15.07.2018. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that the second respondent is a private society, which is registered under the Tamilnadu Society Registration Act and hence the writ petition cannot lie. He would further submit that as the second respondent is a private party the petitioner cannot file the writ petition against him.

4.This Court is in agreement with the submissions made on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ behalf of the first respondent and therefore is of the considered

view that the writ petition is not maintainable and the same is dismissed.

5.It is made clear that it is always open to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy in a manner known to law, if he is so advised. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
