ORDER

The petitioner is studying 12th standard, aged about 17 years. There was an incident out of commotion in the Police Station, wherein, this petitioner has also been added as an accused.

2. Considering the age of the petitioner and the cause of action, this Court has called upon the complainant and ascertained whether she is very particular about proceeding with the complaint.

3. Ms.V.Manimekalai, Head Constable, Kallikudi Police Station complainant in Crime No.225 of 2025 is present before this Court. On the advise of this Court, the complainant stated that she is not inclined to prosecute the complaint as against this petitioner.

4. This Court considered the rival submissions and perused the materials placed before this Court.

5. The incident at the police station, caused by the heightened emotions of all parties involved, is understandable. However, the 2/4

damage caused to the Police Station cannot be ignored. In view of the same, this Court directs the parents of the petitioner to provide a water purifier to the respondent Police Station.

6. With the above condition, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the First Information Report in Crime No.225 of 2025, dated 16.11.2025 on the file of the respondent Police as against this petitioner alone is quashed. The connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 22.04.2026 mbi To
