RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the condition No.6 of the order imposed upon the petitioners in Crl.OP.(MD).No.8908 of 2021 dt.7.7.2021. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.T.LENIN KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioners and of Mr.M.MUTHUMANIKKAM, Government Advocate(crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent the Court made the following order:- The petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD) No.8908 of 2021 dated 07.07.2021.

2. This condition was imposed taking into consideration the fact that the rice meant for public distribution system was illegally procured. Considering the serious offence committed by the petitioner the condition was imposed directing the petitioners to contribute 99 bags of branded ponni rice ( each containing 50kg) to Sathiya Annai Illam , Sivagangai, therefore this Court is not inclined to modify the condition.

3. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
