This petition is filed to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.1209 of 2020 on the file of the second respondent police, within a period that may be stipulated by this Court. 2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.1209 of 2020, which was registered against the accused persons, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 427 and 506(i) of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of Two years, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) would submit that investigation has been completed and Final Report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Orathanadu and yet to be taken on file. 4.Since Final Report was filed and yet to be taken on file by the concerned Magistrate, nothing survives for further direction in this petition.
