Respondents (R2 suo motu impleaded vide order of this Court dated 19.10.2022) Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnor/respondent no.1 and punish him for the wilful disobedience of the order of this Court in WA(MD) No.878 of 2015 dated 26.02.2020.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N. ANAND VENKATESH,J.) When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner received a sum of Rs.4,87,000/- from the first respondent. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioner is entitled for some more amount and what has been paid to him does not satisfy his full claim.

2. In the considered view of this Court, we can only record the payment made to the petitioner and if the petitioner is not satisfied with the same, it is left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
