[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble The ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE] Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

2. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

3. Prayer in this writ petition reads as follows:- "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit it is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS or order or direction in the nature of writ directing the respondents to grant necessary permission and provide adequate police protection for conducting the Village Cultural Program on 26.04.2023 and 27.04.2023 at about 07.00 P.M. To 10.00 P.M., as part of temple

festival of Arulmighu Shri Ariyanayagi Mariamman and Arulmighu Semuneeshwarar Temple at Kallur Village and Post, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2023."

4. There will be a direction to the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 25.04.2023 well in advance and grant permission for Adal Padal programme between 07:00 p.m. and 09:00 p.m., subject to the other usual conditions.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
