ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction the respondent to expedite the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.199 of 2017 on his file before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Oddanchathram, within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the respondent requires two months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.199 of 2017.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.199 of 2017, before the Court concerned within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
