For Appellants : Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan, in all WA's Additional Government Pleader For Respondent : Mr.S.Chellapandian in all WA's COMMON JUDGMENT ************* [Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.SUBBIAH, J.] Today, when the Writ Appeals were taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the appellants himself submitted that the order passed by the learned Single Judge has already been complied with and the Contempt Petitions filed against the order of the learned Single Judge in Contempt Petition (MD)Nos.767 to 778 of 2013 have also been closed on 19.09.2013, recording the compliance and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in these appeals.
2. However, it is represented by the learned counsel for the respondents that still the Government has to pay the arrears of salary.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that in this regard, already order has been passed and the amount would be released, at the earliest.
4. In view of the submission so made, the Writ Appeals are dismissed as infructuous. The Government is directed to pay the arrears of salary to the respondents, at the earliest. No costs.
