Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 14.06.2023 and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 5 take action against the respondents 6 and 7 for misappropriation of fund in the year 2018-2020 at Vengalore Village Panchayat, Paramakudi Panchayat Union, Ramanathapuram District.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of 2/4

M/s. S.Ravi, Advocate for the Petitioner , this Court made the following order: "This Court, while disposing of W.P.(MD)No.18236 of 2023, on 17.11.2023, directed the Director of Vigilance and Anti Corruption, (DVAC), Alandur, Chennai, to conduct the preliminary enquiry and to conclude the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

2. It is submitted that preliminary enquiry was registered on 11.05.2024 and the enquiry process is going on. The time limit given for completing the preliminary enquiry was over on 17.05.2024. Therefore, this petition has been filed seeking to grant further period of six months from 17.05.2024 to complete the preliminary enquiry.

3. Considering the reasons stated in the supporting affidavit, this petition is ordered as prayed for and six months' time is granted from 17.05.2024 to complete the preliminary enquiry."
