ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in 1/3
connection with a case in Crime No. Not Known of 2024, for the offences punishable under Section 498 (a) of IPC, has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant loved each other and now, the petitioner refused to marry her. Hence, the case.
3. It is represented by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent that based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant against the petitioner, an enquiry has been initiated and the same is pending. It is further represented that till the enquiry is completed, the respondent police will not arrest the petitioner.
4. Recording the above submission, this criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to co-operate with the respondent Police for the enquiry. It is made clear that till the enquiry is completed, the respondent Police shall not arrest the petitioner. However, if the petitioner failed to co-operate for the enquiry, the respondent Police is at liberty to arrest the petitioner. Liberty is also granted to the petitioner to file a fresh anticipatory bail petition or bail petition as 2/3
