O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to initiate appropriate criminal action under the relevant provisions of law, on the basis of petitioner's complaint dated 24.05.2022, lodged before the second Respondent herein and same was acknowledged in CSR No.463/2022, within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that initially, based on the complaint received from the petitioner, CSR No.463 of 2022 has been given. After enquiry, a case has been registered in Crime No.34 of 2022, punishable under Sections 498 (A), 494 IPC.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the respondents police may be directed to take further action in the case registered in Crime No.34 of 2022, pending on the file of the second respondent. 4.Perusal of records reveals the fact that initially the petitioner gave a complaint before the second respondent police on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.11733 of 2022 24.05.2022, that was registered in C.S.R.No.463 of 2022 and after enquiry, case in Crime No.34 of 2022 has been registered against the accused. In this case, the petitioner is the wife and the accused are her husband and in-laws and there was dowry dispute between the parties. Therefore, I hereby direct the second respondent police to take appropriate action in the case registered in Crime No.34 of 2022, pending on the file of the second respondent. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
