(Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.) This Court in continuation and conjuncture with the earlier orders dated 03.07.2019 and 09.07.2019 is passing the following order.
2.The primordial grievance expressed by the petitioner is that location of the Office of the Village Administrative Officer in the place meant for library.
3.Heard Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandian, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and he has produced the communication sent by the Block Development Officer, Viralimalai in Na.ka.thi.1/3992/2018 dated 16.07.2019 addressed to him stating that the office of the Village Administrative Officer has been shifted and the library has been restored and it contains 800 books. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that since library cess is collected, it is obligatory on the part of the local body to purchase new books for the benefit of readers and the learned Special Government Pleader undertakes to do the needful and the said undertaking on instruction is placed on record. 5.In the light of the said development, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. No costs.
