Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third and fourth respondents not to grant permission for the Maha Sabai Meeting organized by the fifth to ninth respondents on 26.05.2024 at Golden Jubilee Building of Kalaimagal Primary School, Thiruthangal, Virudhunagar District and thereby direct the third and fourth respondents to refer the dispute to the second respondent to conduct a peace committee meeting so as to avoid law and order problem in the petitioner's area based on his representation dated 19.05.2024, within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the third and fourth respondents not to grant permission for the Maha Sabai Meeting organized by the fifth to ninth respondents on 26.05.2024 at Golden Jubilee Building of Kalaimagal Primary School, Thiruthangal, Virudhunagar District and to direct the third and fourth respondents to refer the dispute to the second respondent to conduct a peace committee meeting 2/4

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents submits that the proposed date of meeting is over and nothing survives in this writ petition.

3.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
