PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to cancel the patta No.2570 issued in the name of 6th respondent and Patta No.2965 issued in the name of 7th respondent in respect of Survey No.208/16B, admeasuring to an extent of 0.10.00 Ares, situates at Parambur Village, Iluppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2025 and 02.04.2025.

The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the 4th respondent to cancel Patta No.2570 issued to the 6th respondent and Patta No. 2965 issued to the 7th respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the official respondents.

3. The petitioner has made representations on 17.03.2025 and 02.04.2025. No positive directions regarding cancellation can be issued in the writ petition. 2/5

4. Considering that the petitioner has already made representations on 17.03.2025 and 02.04.2025, the competent authority being the 4th respondent, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representations referred herein above and pass final orders, after hearing the petitioner as well as the respondents 6 and 7, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
