Mr.M.Karuppasamy, learned Government Advocate takes notice for respondents.

2.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation, dated 30.07.2018 seeking to grant permission and adequate police protection for conducting Villisai Katcheri scheduled on 09.08.2018 and Innisai Katcheri and Kabadi Tournament scheduled on 10.08.2018 at 10.00 p.m. in connection with the Kodai Vizha of Sriman Ooikkattu Sudalai Andavar Temple situated at Sri Ragunathapuram, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. No order has been passed till date. Hence, the petitioner filed this present writ petition before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation filed by the petitioner would be considered by the second respondent in accordance with law.

5.In the light of the above facts and circumstances, and considering the limited scope of the prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.07.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 08.08.2018 after providing an opportunity to the parties concerned. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
