O RDER This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner based on his representation, dated 31.03.2024.

2.It is submitted that already the petitioner has obtained an order in W.P. (MD).No.28143 of 2023, dated 29.11.2023, wherein, this Court has directed the Revenue Officials to survey the land. According to the petitioner, the objector namely Somasundaram objecting the survey. On the basis of the representation given by this petitioner the above said Somasundaram was called by the respondent police. The above said Somasundaram appeared before the respondent police and gave an undertaking that he would abide by the order passed by the High Court. On the basis of the above said undertaking the representation given by the petitioner was closed. But, the learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that one more objector namely Mr.Renganathan, who is the third respondent in the above said writ petition, is now interfering into the survey. Therefore, seeking police protection, this petition has been filed. 2/5

3.In view of the above submission and in view of the order passed by this Court in the above said writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to give adequate police protection to survey the petitioner's land as directed earlier in the writ petition.

4.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands allowed.
