Order : This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.Maheswaran, Advocate for the Peitioner and of Mr.M.Muthumanikkam, Government Advocate for the respondents No.1 and 2, this Court made the following order:
The learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition had been filed seeking to amend the name of the second petitioner as Maniyammal instead of Muniyammal in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.6188 of 2024 dated 23.04.2024.
2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that he had no objection for allowing this Petition.
3.Hence, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment, as prayed for.
4. Further, the learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks extension of time to furnish sureties in Crl.OP(MD) No.6188 of 2024, dated 23.04.2024 and the time is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to furnish the sureties.
