ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 354, 354 A IPC r/w Section 4 of TNPHW Act, in Crime No.156 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant are neighbours. On 29.05.2022 at about 03.00 pm, when the defacto complainant alone was at home, the petitioner came there and compelled her for sexual intercourse and when the same was refused by the defacto complainant, he abused her in filthy language. Hence, the complaint.

CRL OP(MD). No.10559 of 2022 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the investigation is pending.
5. Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this point of time. 6.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 15/06/2022 / TRUE COPY / 22/06/2022 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
