Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 herein to provide police protection to the petitioner and her family members and take necessary action against the 6th and 7th respondents based on the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2019 within a time frame fixed by this Court and pass such further or other orders.

ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking a mandamus to take action on the representation, dated 17.06.2019 alleging harassment and demanding exorbitant interest for the loan received from one Vennila.
2.The said representation dated 17.06.2019 has been presented during the Monday Petition day to the District Collector and a copy is marked to Chief Minister's Cell, the Commissioner of Police, Chennai and the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thanjavur. Except acknowledgment by the office of the District Collector, Thanjavur, there is no material to show that the representation was forwarded to the police higher officials. Since there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, this Court is not in a position to assess the present status of the complaint. In any event, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 5, is hereby directed to instruct the fourth respondent police to look into the representation, dated 17.06.2019, given by the petitioner herein and act in accordance with law.
3.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
