RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time for their surrender by another 15 days in Crl.O.P.(MD)No. 7729 of 2020 dated 28.07.2020. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.S.POORNACHANDRAN, Advocate for the petitioners and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Criminal side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner to execute the sureties and surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that earlier this Court by an order, dated 28.07.2020 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners on condition to surrender before the concerned Court within a period of four weeks. According to the petitioners, due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioners could not appear before the concerned Court and produce the sureties.

3. Considering the request, time granted by this Court vide order dated 28.07.2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD).No. 7729 of 2020 is extended by two weeks from today.
