Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the order of the 4th respondent dated 20.05.2024 by confirming the order of the 5th respondent dated 13.05.2024 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to permit the 'B' party to conduct the temple festival separately.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the impugned order passed by the fourth respondent dated 20.05.2024, by confirming the order of the fifth respondent dated 13.05.2024 and to quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent to permit the 'B' party to conduct the temple festival separately.
2. Heard Mr.K.Arunraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that 'A' party is going to conduct the festival in Arulmigu Bhagavathi Amman Temple, Kaveripalayam, Komangalam Village, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District (respondents 6 to 9) under the supervision of the Executive Officer, the third respondent herein and the last year also 'A' party was allowed to conduct the festival. 3/6
4. It appears that the dispute is between two private parties, who are entitled to conduct the temple festival. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that original application has been filed to settle the above said issue and the same is pending. Since the impugned orders have been passed only as an interim arrangement in order to conduct the temple festival without any issues, the petitioner/'B' party is at liberty to participate in the temple festival. In case the 'B' party is not allowed to participate in the temple festival by the 'A' party, the third respondent shall ensure that the 'B' party also able to participate in the festival and conduct the same peacefully.
5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
