An order of deployment passed by the District Educational Officer, Karur is under challenge in this writ petition. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as a Secondary Grade Teacher in Panchayat Union Middle School, Magalipatty, Thogaimalai Union, Karur. A Government order in G.O.Ms.No.89, Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme (SW-7 (1), Department, dated 11.12.2018 has been issued, introducing Montessori Education for L.K.G and U.K.G classes on pilot basis in Anganwadi Centres. Pursuant to the above Government order, the Director of Elementary Education has passed 2/6

an order with certain guidelines, by his proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 021717/K3/2018, dated 09.01.2019 that the teachers working in the Panchayat Union of the Anganwadi Centres would be deployed to teach the students of L.K.G and U.K.G. Challenging the same, a writ petition in WP(MD) No.115 of 2019 has been filed before this Court and the same was dismissed by order dated 22.05.2019, permitting the Government to fill up the posts of kindergarden teachers, by deploying the excess teachers working in the Secondary Grade post. The grievance of the petitioner is that without deploying the junior most person, the petitioner has been deployed to work in Anganvadi Centre to teach kindergarden students, by the District Educational Officer, Kulithalai, in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 7558/A3/2019, dated 11.01.2019 and consequent to the above order, the petitioner was relieved from the post of Secondary Grade Teacher by a proceedings in Na.Ka.No.203/A1/2019, dated 01.06.2019. Challenging the above orders, the petitioner has filed this writ petition in the year 2019.

3.Today (07.11.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel on either side submits that the above mentioned Government order itself has been withdrawn by the Government and therefore, the petitioner has now been transferred to the same School and now working as a Secondary Grade Teacher. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel on either side and since the grievance of the petitioner is redressed, this Writ Petition is closed. No Costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed.
