PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection to make a continuous Dharna in a peaceful manner to attract the government attention at the venue of Veeracholan Islamic relationship method trust board opposite at Veeracholan, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District, on 11.05.2025, on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner, dated 19.04.2025. For Petitioner :

ORDER
The petitioner seeks for the following relief : ''Writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection to make a continuous Dharna in a peaceful manner to attract the government attention at the venue of Veeracholan Islamic relationship method trust board opposite at Veeracholan, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District, on 11.05.2025, on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner, dated 19.04.2025.''
2. When the matter came up for admission, Mr.A.Kannan, Additional Government Pleader, took notice for Respondents 2,3 and 5 and Mr.M.Karunanithi, Government Advocate, for Respondents 2,4 and 6. They sought time to get instructions from the official respondents.
3. When the matter was called today, both the counsels, in unison, represented that the petitioner can have Dharna at Natham Survey No.306/13, Veeracholan Village, Tiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District, on 11.05.2025.
4. The respondents state that the petitioner can indulge in his protest between 10.00 A.M. and 01.00 P.M. The Dharna shall be conducted without using any loudspeakers.
5. It is made clear that the petitioner's Dharna must not inhibit the normal life of the public and, in case it so happens, appropriate action will be initiated against him by the authorities.
6. Mr.Sivaprakash is agreeable to the aforesaid terms.
7. Writ Petition is ordered accordingly. No costs. 28.04.2025
