For Respondent : Mr.K.R.Bharthi Kannan, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For an Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.179 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner who is arrayed as A-1 apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.179 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to election motive between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, the petitioner herein and his sons said to have abused the defacto complainant and his father using filthy language and assaulted the defacto complainant's father with empty beer bottle on his head and caused serious injuries and also made life threat with dire consequences. Hence, a complaint has been registered.

3. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (criminal side).

CRL OP(MD). No.10051 of 2020 submitted that due to election motive between the parties, they were roped in to a false case given by the defacto complainant. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail.

5. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side)appearing for the respondent police would submit that there are Eight previous cases pending against the petitioner. He further submitted that there is no change in circumstances.

6. Taking note of the submission of the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) and considering the fact that there are Eight previous cases pending against the petitioner and there is no change in circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.

7. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
