Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for Indian Oil Corporation Limited.

2.The petitioner states that his land which is located within Peravurani Taluk limits was chosen as site for locating a petroleum 1/3

outlet. The petitioner states that the corporation officials are now proposing to cancel the petitioner's location. In this regard, the petitioner has given a representation dated 27.08.2020. The second respondent is the authority competent to go into the issue. 3.I, therefore, direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.08.2020 and dispose it of on merits and in accordance with law. The second respondent will ofcourse take into account the documents putforth by the petitioner herein before passing final orders. Till, final orders are passed by the second respondent on the petitioner's representation, the petitioner's site will not be treated as cancelled. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is entirely for the second respondent to take a call in the matter. 4.

The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
