Heard Mr.D.Rajaboopathy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.C.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate for the 2/5

respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.R.M.S.Sethuraman, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 4 and 5.

2. The petitioner has filed this petition seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and dispose of his representations dated 15.05.2024 and 20.05.2024 with regard to excommunication of his community people from worshiping the deity of 'Arulmigu Sri Santhana Kaliamman kovil' by the respondents 6 to 10 and their community peoples as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated by this Court.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.R.M.S.Sethuraman, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 4 and 5 submitted that the fifth respondent has already passed an order by not granting permission to conduct the Temple Festival. This is in view of the fact that the rival parties did not come to any agreement in the Peace Committee Meeting conducted by the third respondent on 14.05.2024.

4. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
