ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 487 of IPC, 6(i), 13 Drugs Control Act, 1950 altered into under Section 8(c) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 r/w Sections 22(c), 23, 25, 28 and 29 of Drugs Control Act, in Crime No.44 of 2018, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that in view of secrete information the Keelakarai Police authorities conducted inspection and found that the one Irulandi possessed with tablets named as TRAMADAL X 225 HYDBOCHLORIDE in his boat bearing No.TN-15-FRTV4877, for which F.I.R. registered by the Keelakarai Police Station under Crime No.78 of 2018 for the alleged offences under Sections 8(c), 20 (b)(ii)(B) of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. The said Irulandi made a confession hence the case transferred to the respondent police and the present FIR registered in the Crime No.44 of 2018 and the petitioner name was included.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the investigation is pending.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
6. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
7. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
