None appears for the writ petitioner.

2. The counsel who filed the writ petition informed the Court on the last occasion that the bundle had been taken back.

3. I went through the contents set out in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition and also the materials enclosed in the typed set of papers. I also heard the learned Standing counsel appearing for TANGEDCO.

4. It is seen that the petitioner's father had obtained service connection for the petition-mentioned lands. Admittedly, the connection had been disconnected way back in the year 1996. No agricultural operations were being conducted. The petitioner now wants restoration. The learned Standing counsel clarifies that during the relevant time, the concept of free agricultural service connection was not there. If the petitioner wants free agricultural service connection, it is open to him to apply afresh and wait for his turn. If the petitioner wants restoration, it has to be on payment basis. Recording the submission of the respondents, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
