ORDER

The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to give the enhancement of leave salary and Special Provident Fund for a period of 8 months on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 12.07.2018.

2.Heard Mr.A.Rajaram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, the petitioner was appointed as Village Administrative Officer in the year 1982 and after serving 28 years, he retired from service on 31.12.2010. During service, some disciplinary proceedings was initiated and punishment of stoppage of increment was inflicted for two years and he was placed under suspension for a criminal case, which was pending against him filed by the Vigilance and Anti Corruption and thereafter, he rejoined duty and therefore, in this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

regard, certain period has not been calculated for his pay and other benefits. Therefore, in order to calculate and disbursement of the same, the petitioner had given representation on 12.07.2018 and if the said representation is directed to be considered in that regard and an order to that effect is directed to be passed, the petitioner would be satisfied.

4.I have heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the said representation would be considered and an order would be passed on merits, within a time frame.

5.Considering the limited scope of the writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of with the following direction: "The respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.07.2018 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
