The instant writ petition has been filed challenging the selection list published by the first respondent on 29.05.2019. 2/4

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has secured 44.33 marks in the written examination and he comes within BC communal category.

3.At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent invites the attention of this Court that the first respondent had conducted examination for 300 posts of Assistant Engineer/Electrical, and 25 posts of Assistant Engineer/Civil.

4.According to the result published on the TANGEDCO Website, on 29.05.2019, the petitioner has secured 44.33 marks, whereas the cutoff mark for the person those who come within the BC Community is 49.67. 5.In view of the aforesaid submissions, it is ambly clear that the petitioner did not come within the zone of consideration. Therefore, this Court does not find any merit in favour of the petitioner. Hence,, this Writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
