ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No.11 of 2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 498(A) and 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, have filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to matrimonial dispute, the accused have abused the defacto complainant using filthy language, harassed her and demanded additional dowry. Hence the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the parties have now compromised and settled the issue amicably. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4.Considering that it is a matrimonial dispute, the matter was referred to the Mediation and the mediation report was also filed before this Court. It is seen that the parties have amicably resolved their issue and they have joined together. 2/3

5.Considering this development, this criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to ascertain the compromise arrived at in this petition and close the FIR in Crime No.11 of 2024, pending before the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thiruverumbur, Trichy. sd/- 28/06/2024 / TRUE COPY / /07/2024 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.I /II /III /IV ) Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai - 625 023.
