Amendment to Rule 15(1)(c) of the Tamil nadu Village Panchayats (Assessment and collection of Taxes) Rules 1999, vide G.O.Ms.No38, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (PR1) Dept. dated 05/03/08, on the file of the 1st respondent and the consequential demand notice dated 27/01/2011 for a payment of Rs.1,51,238/- as House tax and Library cess for Door.Nos. 659 1A,4A,5A, in ward no. 1 in Form 1, by Assessment No. 1816, on the file of the 4th respondent, and quash them in so far as the petitioner school is concerned, and direct the respondents to grant exemption for the payment of House tax to the petitioner school.
