ORDER
This Contempt Petition has been filed seeking orders to punish the contemnors for the deliberate and willful disobedience of the order passed in Crl.O.P.(MD)Nos.22494 to 22496 of 2022, dated 20.12.2022.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the first respondent/contemnor has issued proceedings, dated 05.06.2023, appointing the Inspector of Police, Cantonment (L&O) Police Station, Trichy, as single Investigating Officer to investigate the cases and the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Cantonment Range, Trichy City, was nominated to monitor the investigation. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has also produced the copy of the proceedings, dated 05.06.2023
