PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.6 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 7 and 8 of Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, in Crime No.6 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, who is working as headmaster, had caused mental harassment and sexual harassment at the working place to the students. Hence, the complaint.

3.No doubt, the earlier application for anticipatory bail filed by the petitioner was dismissed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10053 of 2022 vide order dated 08.06.2022. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

5.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that two victims, in their statements recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., have specifically implicated the involvement of the petitioner.

6.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged against the petitioner and also the fact that investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
