... O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.
2. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.
3. The only ground on which the petitioner seeks prohibitory mandamus is that the volley ball court has been constructed in the very same place in the year 2019 - 2020. It is a common knowledge that setting up of the volley ball court does not require any permanent structure except erection of two poles. The Government is at liberty to use the limited resources available for construction of public offices. This Court cannot, in exercise of jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, interfere with such exercise of power by the Government. These are matters which are apart judicial review.
4. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
