PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 18/2022 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner /A3 who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 04.02.2023 for the offences under sections 409,420 of IPC@ 409,420,12(b) IPC in Crime No.18 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that A1 who is working as Accountant in the District Treasury. The defacto complainant is the District Treasury Officer. A1 had prepared forgery bills through ATBPS of the Original Pensioners amount and he cheated a sum of Rs.1,88,74,719/- during the period from 04.06.2018 to 23.09.2020 by misusing e-pension software system. Further A1 transferred huge amount of money to the petitioner and the other accused through their bank account on 31.12.2018 and 25.06.2020, 02.07.2020 by A1, hence the case.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4. It is seen that there are totally eight accused in this case and the petitioner is herein is arrayed as A3. The brother-in-law of the petitioner was working in the treasury through him a sum of Rs.1,88,74,719 was transferred to his relatives including the petitioner herein. In so far as the petitioner herein is concerned a sum of Rs.32,10,822/- was transferred to his account from the treasury. Taking into consideration serious offence committed by the petitioner as against the general public, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
