W.M.P. (MD) No. 8126 of 2026, filed by the petitioner seeking permission of this Court to file a single Writ Petition, is ordered. Page No. 2 of 6

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to implement the benefit of One-Man Commission as stipulated under the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.338, Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 26.08.2010 issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu and by considering representation dated 23.03.2026 submitted by the petitioners.
3. This Writ Petition is being disposed of at the admission stage itself for the reasons set out in the succeeding paragraphs.
4. In all, there are two petitioners in the present Writ Petition. Upon perusal of the materials on record, there is nothing to show that any representation was submitted by the second petitioner. Even the so-called representation submitted by the first petitioner is dated 19.03.2026, but signed on 31.03.2026. The said representation is stated to have been sent by registered post on 23.03.2026 to the respondents. According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the same was delivered on 27.03.2026.
5. The petitioners could not even wait for a reasonable period for the respondents to act upon the said representation and have approached Page No. 3 of 6
this Court by filing the present Writ Petition. In view of the fact that the petitioners have rushed to this Court within a week from the date of the alleged submission of the representation, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition.
6. It is also to be noted that the first petitioner is an Association, which is stated to be the signatory to the said representation. There is no representation from the second petitioner, nor there is any averment in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition with regard to his service particulars or any representation submitted by him.
7. In the light of the above, this Court is not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition and the same is accordingly dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the remaining Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 15.04.2026 JEN NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No Page No. 4 of 6
