[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The prayer in the Habeas Corpus Petition is to direct the respondents to secure the detenue namely Ravi, S/o.Vadivel aged about 36 years from the illegal custody of the second respondent and produce him before this Court and set him at liberty. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would state that the detenue, who is the husband of the petitioner is an accused in Crime no.144 of 2019 on the file of the second respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 302 and 379 IPC and he was arrested on 15.09.2020 and remanded to judicial custody on 16.09.2020. 3.However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the detenue was kept in illegal detention by the second respondent for about four days before he was remanded on 16.09.2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.713 of 2020 4.It is seen that the detenue is said to have been involved in the case of murder for gain and he was remanded on 16.09.2020 and hence, we find no merit in this case.
