COMMON PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.1278 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

COMMON ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/A2 and A3, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 27.05.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aa) and 4(1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act and Sections 4, 6 and 7 of Tamil Nadu Rectified Sprit Rules, in Crime No.1278 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seek bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners and other accused were found in illegal possession of 80 litres of arrack. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocents and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that the petitioners are having two previous cases under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.10551 of 2022 5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged and also taking note of the fact that the petitioners are in judicial custody from 27.05.2022 and also the fact that the petitioners are having two previous cases under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this point of time.

6.In the result, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed.
