ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to provide police protection to survey the property of the petitioner, based on the representation, dated 18.05.2022.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the one of the owner of the property in patta No.3165 and he wants to sell the said property. But, the purchaser wants to survey the land before purchasing it. Hence, on 20.04.2022, the petitioner attempted to survey the land along with surveyors. But, the second respondent herein prevented them from surveying the land. Therefore, he gave a representation to the respondent police, seeking police protection for surveying his land. But, till now, no action has been taken. Hence, this petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the representation given by the petitioner is pending for consideration.

4.On a perusal of records, it is seen that the petitioner is the one of the owner of the property in patta No.3165 and he wants to sell the said property. But, the purchaser wants to survey the land before purchasing the same. Hence, the petitioner made https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10682 of 2022 arrangements through the Government Surveyor to survey the land. But, the second respondent herein, prevented them from surveying the land. Therefore, he gave a representation, dated 18.05.2022, to the respondent police, seeking police protection for surveying the land. 5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to provide police protection for surveying the said land, on payment of cost, which should be borne by the petitioner. 6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands closed.
