PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying this Court to direct the respondents to close the proceedings initiated against the petitioner under section 109 of Cr.P.C, in the year 2015 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2022.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to close the proceedings initiated against the petitioner under section 109 of Cr.P.C, in the year 2015 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2022.

2. The facts of the case are that a case was registered against the petitioner by the respondent Police in Crime No.345 of 2015. Thereafter, the respondent Police initiated the proceedings against the petitioner under Section 109 of Cr.P.C. They informed the petitioner that the said proceedings will be in force for a period of one year. After the period is over, the said proceedings will be closed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner has already executed a bond for one year in the year 2015. Even though, the period prescribed in the said proceedings got https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10587 of 2022 over, the Police requested the petitioner to come to the Police Station. Hence, the petitioner filed the Criminal Original Petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that already the petitioner executed a bond for one year in the year 2015. After one year that bond procedure comes to an end. No proceedings have been initiated against the petitioner so far.

5. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, since no proceeding is pending against the petitioner under Section 109 of Cr.P.C, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
