O R D E R
This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated. 19.03.2025.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the wife of the 3rd respondent and there is a family dispute pending between them. While so, the 3rd respondent is causing life threat to the petitioner and thereby, the petitioner sent a representation to the 2nd respondent on 19.03.2025 for police protection and the same has not been considered. Hence, she has filed this petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that they received complaint from the petitioner and thereafter, they issued C.S.R.No.234 of 2025 on 19.03.2025. Based on the same, for enquiry, the petitioner has not cooperated after receipt of summon. However, they will conduct enquiry and take appropriate action in accordance with law. Page No. 2 of 4
4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition, this Court without even issuing notice to the 3rd respondent inclined to pass orders in this petition.
5. The 2nd respondent has also admitted the receipt of the complaint from the petitioner. However, the petitioner has not cooperated for enquiry. Therefore, recording the same, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the 2nd respondent on 02.05.2025 for enquiry and thereafter, the 2nd respondent has to complete the enquiry and act in accordance with law within a period of fifteen days from the date of this order.
6. With the above said observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
