2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner and his family members are facing life threat at the hands of the respondents 3 to 6. Hence, the representation has been filed seeking police protection. Since the same was not considered by the respondent police till now, the petitioner has come forward to this Court. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the representation from the petitioner has been received by the respondent police only very recently and it will be considered by them within a short time. 4.Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the 2/4

representation made by the petitioner, dated 21.05.2024, and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
