PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 herein to permit the petitioner herein and 100 family 24 Manai Telungu Chettiyar belongs to petitioner's group of Lingapuram Village to participate in the forthcoming Aadi festival scheduled to be held from 13.08.2019 to 15.08.2019 as per the proceedings of the second respondent herein, dated 28.07.2018 and 10.08.2018.

The Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to permit the petitioner and 100 family 24 Manai Telungu Chettiyar belongs to petitioner's group of Lingapuram Village to participate in the forthcoming Aadi festival scheduled to be held from 13.08.2019 to 15.08.2019 as per the proceedings of the second respondent herein, dated 28.07.2018 and 10.08.2018. 2/4

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petition has become infructuous. 3.Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
