PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, to direct the 1st respondent to instruct the respondents no.2 and 3 not to harass the petitioners in any manner.

This petition has been filed by the petitioners to direct the 1st respondent to instruct the respondents no.2 and 3 not to harass the petitioners in any manner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the respondents no.3 and 4 frequently called the petitioners for enquiry and thereby harassing them without any valid reasons. Therefore, the petitioners sent a representation on 16.04.2024, but the same has not been considered. Hence, they have filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that these petitioners are history sheet Page No. 2 of 4

holders and all the petitioners have some previous cases. Therefore, in order to watch the movements of the petitioners, they called the petitioners for enquiry. Apart from that they have not harassed the petitioners as alleged in the petition.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition, recording the above said submission of the learned Government Advocate that they have not harassed the petitioner, this criminal original petition is closed. If the petitioners presence is required, the respondents are at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
