O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the first respondent Police to file a final report in respect to Crime No.40 of 2018, pending on his file.

2. Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that in respect to the First Information Report registered in Crime No.40 of 2018, for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 406 and 506 (i) of I.P.C., the first respondent Police has completed the investigation and filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Trichy and the same was assigned with case number as C.C.No.825 of 2020. The above said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) is recorded.

3. In view of the above, since the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous, no further order is necessary in this petition. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
