ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to withdraw the pending investigation in Cr.No.85 of 2024 on the file of the third respondent and transfer the same to some other competent officer.

2. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, would submit that the investigation has been completed and a final report has also been filed before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Tenkasi and CC number was not yet assigned.

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed and the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Tenkasi, is directed to forthwith assign number to the final report filed by the third respondent herein. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report, 2/4

by filing a petition seeking further investigation under Section 173(8) Cr.P.C., / 193 (9) BNSS, 2023, if not satisfied by the manner in which final report is filed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
