ORDER
The above writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondets to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner house property situated in Survey No.560/8A Paaraipatti village, Aathur Tk, Dindigul District by considering the application of the petitioner dated 20.5.2020.."

The facts as set out in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition reads as follows:- The petitioner would submit that she has purchased a land comprised in S.No.560/8A, in Paaraipatti Village, Aathur Taluk, Dindigul Distrcit from one Malliga through an unregistered Sale Agreement. Pursuant to the Sale Agreement, she was handed over the possession of the subject property.

3. She would submit that after purchasing the above said property, the petitioner and her husband has jointly put up a house construction. She would further submit that she is also paying property tax in her name. She would further submit that the Village Administrative Officer by his proceedings dated 05.06.2020 has certified that the petitioner and her husband are in possession and enjoyment of the said property.
4. While so, on 20.05.2020, the petitioner had made an application seeking electricity service connection for the above building, however, the same has not been considered. Thereafter, the petitioner had once again made an application on 05.09.2020 and the same has not been considered to date.
5. Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 an 2 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 20.02.2020 will be considered and orders will be passed within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2020 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
